HBR Cure for Richard/bkuhn phone conversation today.

Richard and I had a 1 hour phone call today. Most of it was not about
copyleft-next, but some of it was, and here's the “HBR cure” for that:

  * We discussed that we both have had less time — given demands of our day
jobs — to put into copyleft-next than we had wanted to when launched in
July. Both of us are going to work to clear some things from our
schedules in the coming months, and are hoping to do a “bigger push” of
work on copyleft-next during November and December. We plan to talk
again mid-October to look into that.

  * We discussed that, based on they types of things and and ideas that
folks have been raising, that it might be best to redraft many sections
from scratch rather than attempt to mold the text there into addressing
some of the very interesting issues folks have been raising. The text
there is not sacrosanct, and indeed, treating license texts as a
sacrosanct often leads to weird drafting histories and carry along
baggage of verbiage that may simply not be needed.

  * We briefly discussed license compatibility, and pondered ways of making
copyleft-next compatible with other copylefts while not causing it to
    simply “degrade” to that copyleft.
