Hello, I recently stumbled across this project and I think it looks promising, but it seems like there hasn't been any activity on the mailing list since September and the license draft hasn't been updated on git since before the project re-launched. Has copyleft-next been abandoned again?

Thanks for your interest. It has not been abandoned. Basically, bkuhn
and I (co-editors-in-chief) have been too busy to really start
collaborating on it. Hopefully that will change a little later this
year. Indeed, I think I may need to do a Hindering Backchannels
Rule<tm> cure because I spoke briefly to bkuhn a couple of weeks ago
about copyleft-next.
